Control Arms
Control Arms
Just installed over the weekend. Was a quick and painless Install! Night and day difference on road manners for my JKU. Still need to get an alignment to make sure my measurements are exact but even as it is now, great improvement over factory control arms. Feels like my shocks and coil springs can actually do their job now, making for a much smoother ride. Great quality product. I am a synergy customer for life. Have also replaced with their tie rod, drag link, and Trac bar. I have put over 100k miles on my wrangler and now regret not installing these sooner. If if your jeep is stock height, these would change your ride for the better.Quick tip#1: it says in the I instructions that the forged end is angled and needs to be installed properly. I wasn't sure what that meant until I started to install. When you go to mount up, if the arm sits too far to one side, then you need to rotate the end that swivels and that will line everything up perfectly.#2: don't reuse factory bolts. They are not shouldered bolts and are threaded all the way through. Either order you a set when you order your control arms, or go down to the getting place and pick you up a set of new ones so you don't eat away your bushing sleeve or mounting brackets with the factory bolts. This is a common cause of death wobble.
