Worked great on boat trailer. Was at a good price and fit as it should.Overall it's good, quality seems decent, and bright. Just be careful when installing. Even though i've done a lot of trailer light work over the years, I didn't notice that the wire gets crushed against the ground bolt if you're not careful. This is due to a tad more waterproofing on the back than there should be. In other words, when flush against the trailer (or any flat surface), the brown + wire still sticks out a bit, even though there's a slot for it. So when you tighten the bolt the wire crushes a bit against the waterproof caulk, or even the bolt itself. Maybe there's just a little too much waterproofing caulk on this batch of lights. And just my luck, of the 4 I installed, this happened to one, apparently the wire got very close to the nut shaped exit hole of the bolt, so when tightened the wire flattened against that metal, and the insulation got ripped just enough to short out to where the bolt exits the housing. Spent a long time having to retrace all my wiring to find that short; I never expected it to be the brand new lights I just bought.Easy Solution: I ended up putting a washer on the bolt, then mounting. I also wrapped a little tape around the wire at the slot and put a dab of caulk there to hold the wire... that slot is a sharp edge and could chew through the insulation pretty easily if there's any vibration at all. Problem solved. But, I wish I'd seen that design problem first, it would have saved me a lot of time.If the manufacturer happens to read this, I'd suggest running the wire INTO the big glob of waterproofing when you pour the waterproofing, so the wire is lined up with the slot... and also protect the wire at the slot. The reason most of us are buying trailer lights is to replace faulty, old lights. It would be nice if the design didn't have flaws that could introduce new problems later on.P.S. Here's a tip... get some conductive grease or anti corrosive grease for outdoor electrical work... the big orange store carries it. Wipe it on the bolt and nut, and make sure all your trailer grounds and ground bolts get the same treatment. I can't say it guarantees no problems down the road, but I've gone 3 years so far on another trailer with no problems at all. And you can also do what I did on this trailer... run a separate, heavy ground wire (i.e. 14AWG) down each side of your trailer. Then run a wire off that right to the bolt on each light. Add a 2nd nut to the light, wrap or hook the ground wire in between the 2 nuts, add grease, tighten. At the hitch end connect the ground wires to the trailer (of course clean the connection, use the grease). Now you have a solid ground wire for each light, in addition to the trailer being a ground. No more grounding problems... yay!I didn't read the fine print my bad. I'm sure they will still work but they are not LED's. Since I was replacing the same brand name and size that I had I just assumed they were LED's like the ones I have on the trailer now.Perfect. This was so easy to install, and looks and functions excellently.Replaced the broken original and works the same. No problem. They installed fast they’re really simple to put on and they look really nice and they shipped fast to my door thank youI can't find these locally, so I'm glad Amazon had them. They're exactly what I needed, and it works as it should. Would buy again, and recommend to friends and family.Awesome!satisfyAwesome lightsGreat!
